JustPremium (JPX), the first Ad Exchange for High Impact Rich Media ads, has been active in the MENA market from the beginning of 2015.
To expand further in this region, Denise Clément Seïf, a veteran of the media business in MENA joined as Region Manager MENA. She has been guiding trading desks like Cadreon, Vivaki, Amnet, Affiperf, Accuen and Mindshare MENA towards buying JustPremium products on a programmatic basis and building close ties with local publishers. This was JustPremium’s first milestone in MENA.
Today the company announced their second milestone, an extensive partnership with Mena Market Place. MMP is a premium programmatic advertising marketplace enabling leading publishers and premium brands to better monetize their digital advertising inventory. MMP deals with programmatic on mobile, desktop and video, and has ambitious plans of adding other non-digital media to its repertoire of offerings in the future. Nader Bitar, director of Mena Market Place: “With JustPremium we can execute programmatic rich media formats, making us the first in the MENA region to do so”.
With this partnership, JustPremium has made serious steps towards further gaining ground in the MENA region and towards countering common misconceptions about programmatic advertising, such as it being cheap to buy and it cannibalizing a publisher’s direct sales. JustPremium, which has been active in programmatic advertising and RTB for over 3 years, has already experienced these preconceptions and has been proving these preconceptions wrong consistently and can join its voice to that of MMP, which has also always advocated for quality inventory in programmatic.
For 2016, the companies are planning to bring scale to the programmatic High Impact Rich Media formats in the MENA region. With programmatic products like the Billboard push up, Wallpaper takeovers and Roadblocks JustPremium and MMP will continue to push for innovation and automation, improving performance for advertisers and increasing revenue for publishers.
